What will we receive with our session?
You will receive an online digital gallery with 15-25 professionally edited photos.
How should we dress for our family session?
Try to pick colors and tones that coordinate and compliment each other. Try to stick to a theme - neutrals, cool tones, or grays & whites, etc. BUT don’t drive yourself crazy thinking about it. Choosing a color palette that has 3-4 colors to incorporate in outfits seems to work best. Try to avoid neon colors as they can distract from the rest of the photo and your family’s natural beauty.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
The best time to photograph your newborn is within the first two weeks after they are born. They tend to sleep through more and allow us to get those cuddly, adorable photos. I prefer to lifestyle newborn shoots which help capture a casual, loving setting in your home. I know how exhausted mom and dad can be during this time but don’t fret - you’re not required to be in the photos if you do not want to and I am there to help with ANYTHING during our session. From swaddling, cuddling, rocking, or just getting mama a glass of water - I’m there to help make the process easier!
What if the weather is not cooperating for our outdoor session?
We live in Florida and let’s face it, the weather can be unpredictable at times. I recommend leaving your schedule open the day of our scheduled shoots so that we can change the time if needed due to weather. If the weather seems like it won’t be suitable - we can reschedule to a better day and time - no worries!
